Prince Sports are one of the leading manufacturers of tennis, squash and badminton racquet/products in the world. I’ve worked very closely with Prince (acting as their marketing department) and all their European, Middle Eastern partners, agencies and suppliers. I was involved in all aspects of their branding, strategy & marketing resources, provide all creative and communication resources that included online experiences, product brochures, promotional campaigns, retail graphics, on/offline advertising media, social media, packaging, POP and Global meeting material/presentations.
Prince introduced their new High Street store to the famous SW19 location recently. The store was a shift away from their traditional marketing approach and I was involved in the design and delivery of all marketing material that helped announce their arrival in SW19. Strong exterior/interior graphics have helped to create a voice for the brand. In-store graphics, product announcements, time lapse store photography and leaflets were created and implemented on an ongoing basis to help promotional activity, player appearances and special offers – providing an additional revenue stream for the brand.
A marketing success of note came recently during the Wimbledon tournament fortnight. The ‘Winning Ball’ campaign was rolled out during the tournament. This not only announced the brand store to Wimbledon visitors but also helped promote other shops in the SW19 location where promotional prizes from the campaign could be redeemed. A life sized ‘Winning Ball’ mascot became the centre of attention both in the village and on the social channels. The real success came at the end of the campaign with figures showing a massive increase in footfall and over a 300% increase in profits.
