IRIS Software, a well-known SaaS business that provide software and services primarily for the accountancy, HR, payroll, and education sectors were looking to redesign their legacy systems for the UK accountancy sector.
Research programs were set up with key stakeholders to gather detailed insights on user habits and their delivery requirements. It became clear at a very early stage that customers had very specific ways of using the current system and any new system/processes needed to take this into account and be easily applied to all processes.
The initial framework was originally set up using Adobe XD but was quickly replaced with Figma which gave better accessibility and design functionality for all team members going forward.
Setting up an agile environment, collaborating with all UX/UI team members, Senior PO’s, PM’s, Business Analysts, Stake Holders, UX/UI researchers, Copywriters, frontend and backend development were intrinsic in delivering over 150+ highly technical and considered user centred design solutions within the Tax product family.
